Plymouth Quarries, Inc. was incorporated in 1915 in Hingham, Massachusetts from the combining of a group of companies that had been quarrying commercially on the property since 1811. We still quarry the same Weymouth Seamface and Splitface Granite and continue to serve customers such as Boston College, Yale University and St John’s University that have used our stone for decades.
Weymouth Granite is found in a church, college or municipal building in almost every town in New England and very commonly from Washington DC to Chicago. Our stone has been recently used as far away as Colorado and Hawaii.
The newest addition to the showroom is our Thin Stone display, the newest and most versatile stone product in the industry.
Our fabrication shop is equipped with a hydraulic stone splitter and 3 stone saws with diamond blades up to 64” capable of sawing blocks up to 24” thick. We can custom fabricate fireplace hearths & mantels; kitchen counters; steps; wall caps; pool copings; entryways; and almost anything you can think of. Our technicians can take your drawings or CAD files and transform them into the natural stone of your choice.
